Reversals and double-reversals abound. At one point, Ringer admits to dizziness, a sensation readers may share. "Bluffs inside bluffs, feints within counterfeints. I'm in a game," she says, "in which I don't know the rules or even the object." Despite the gore, inhumanity, and senseless losses, Yancey manages an ending that both shatters and uplifts. This was an amazing sequel to the first novel that opens more questions about the "others" and answers the question of if they are really from a different planet. It was intricately weaved and extremely interesting

This book answers many questions that you had from the first book.
Nice follow up to book #1
I really enjoyed this book. Not quite the roller coaster ride of the first, more about character development and analysis about what makes us human. Looking forward to #3.
