The book follows the experiences of Samuel and Sylvia Rose of Duo Rose Trapeze over their ten year career working as professional circus artists. As all sweet ideas come to pass, the idea for this book came to Samuel while cooking dessert. When asked for the recipe for his infamous Rum Cake, they browsed through their recipe collection. It became apparent that after almost a decade of traveling internationally, Samuel and Sylvia had collected some of the most unique flavors with the most interesting back stories. The book features over 45 international performers their favorite recipes, biographies and act photos. This book showcases recipes from these incredibly talented performers with whom we have had the joy of sharing the stage and the kitchen. From easy after-show fare to fancy cocktails for your days off, this book gives you a glimpse into the lives and kitchens of artists from a variety cultures. Featuring four sections that include soup and salads, entrees, cocktails and a comprehensive collection of desserts. We have collected a wide assortment of healthy fare and heartier dishes. There are a lot of unique recipes from around the world that also include some of the history of the dishes.
