The beautiful Britanie Buchanan grew to appreciate life in all the glittery her parents Frank and Barbra Buchanan provided. Known by her peers to be a daddy's girl, she played her part well to remain the apple of his eyes. But one day something tragic happened and Frank did not return home.

His bemusement led to a prudent peek that sought to unfold the hidden part of their souls and in the process, discovered the repression of spoiled happiness and gross grief; the emblem of misery moulded in neurotic love and acidic hate.
Fascinated by Reggie's unassumed advancement on her threatened life, Britanie found herself locked between his charm and a love that was forbidden. The option of giving or have it taken from her scared her the most. Forced to accept her fate, she opened her soul to him as he blindly guided her along the nauseating secrets she refused to make common among them.

A great romance novel I think every youth 'especially' female should read - Melissa Grant.
The weaving of this literature should prove a great help to those who have had to deal with stepfather issues and or verbal gender abuse - Anmarie Duncan.
I especially like the ending, though I wouldn't in a million years see it coming - Victor Moore.
