The Irish Twins

Larry and Eileen, twins live in a very poor village in Ireland, but they don't seem to mind. They roast potatoes in the ashes of Granny's fire, have a run-in with dangerous Gypsies, and seem to lead a very happy family life. Often they are seen playing with their friend Dennis. This book talks about school life, the culture in Ireland in the early 1900’s, and several times different characters narrate Irish folktales to the children.
