Former FBI agent Lauren Pauling is hired by a law firms mysterious client to investigate the disappearance of a young man. In Belize. Actually murdered by a scuba diver with a speargun. What ensues is a tale of deceit and action on every page !!! My highest recommendation !!

A firm is requesting Pauling to check out a missing child in Belize. He maybe a connection to Jack Reader, she doubted that. Jack took his responsibility very seriously. A generous check for a month to check it out. Curiosity and a new adventure, so with that, looking forward to going. Wanting Tallon to join her, but he had made commitment to be in Mexico City. That plus the three local guys who won’t leave him alone.
The police didn’t want her in Belize, coming home, to find she had been set up, now the question is why did they involved her. Tallon now is questioning it also, coming back to New York. Finding Pauling had been shot twice.
He wanted and would get answers . A great plot, it seemed personal when it is directed at either Pauling or Tallon. The plot flowed and once again you are at the end, awaiting the next book and adventure.
