The Janus Protocol

Fourteen kidnapped children. Six allied spy agencies are at each other's throats. One doctor who wants them all.

During a Hezbollah rocket barrage on northern Israel, terrorists disguised as Israeli paramedics abduct fourteen schoolchildren and smuggle them into Lebanon. At the same moment, a leak engineered by the shadowy JANUS network hits six Middle East governments at once and exposes the secret surveillance inside Vigil, the covert Israeli-Arab intelligence alliance.

Mossad, Egyptian, Jordanian, Saudi, Qatari, and Emirati operatives who once trusted each other are recalled, arrested, or hunted. Eitan Barak and Lea Weiss have to rebuild a broken alliance before the kidnapped children vanish into a medical conspiracy reaching from Beirut to London, Cyprus, Vienna, and Lake Geneva.

Packed with hostage rescues, chemical attacks, false-flag operations, and international intrigue, The Janus Protocol is a relentless spy thriller about trust, betrayal, and the price of bringing every child home.

Book Two in the Vigil Novels, a Middle East espionage thriller series. Best read after The Shadow Coup.
