Great for learning jazz piano but poor digital edition
I own other (print) books by Mark Levine and he is a very good music teacher. This book in its digital edition is poorly rendered though...
For example, eleventh notes are shown as ‘II’ instead of ‘11’ which makes no sense in jazz because Roman numeral II means the number 2 note or chord in a scale. Some times ‘13’ is printed as I3. Really??
This was visibly edited by someone with no understanding of what the book is about.
I wished Mr. Levine had vetted this edition before its publication.
Great book…but the price?!
$26 on iTunes and $15 for the Kindle version! WHY???
