"The Jelly Fish and the Monkey" is are excellent legend, translated from Japanese by Yei Theodora Ozaki. The story tells of the great sea king named Rin Jin, or the Dragon King of the Sea. He had tremendous strength and domineer of all sea creatures both great and small, and in his keeping were the Jewels of the Ebb and Flow of the Tide. But not in the joy of his reign he was, because he was acting alone. He wanted to marry. This is one of the best creations of the author, and so it might be interesting to all readers.
