Love it, but this rubbed me the wrong way
Quote from commentary on Proverbs 8:22-31 “Second, Solomon appealed to his son to embrace the wisdom of Proverbs, and what would be more appealing to a young man than an alluring woman?”
I find this very offensive. This generalizes that all young men are horny and thinking about women all of the time. I really this this should be removed from the Bible. If the writer gave some kind of historical context of other ancient writers using woman in analogies that would be one think, but to say that “men today can also are allured by women” is just offensive to men who respect women.
