The Journey Home was a journey
I have read all of Kelly Elliott's books. I have yet to find one that I don't love and I mean love. This story was different from her other ones. It started out with Maddie and Cale spending one night together and from that one night they fell in love. I am not one to believe in love at first sight but have known a few people where they did fall that fast AND married within a few days after AND are still married. Unfortunately that is not what happened here. Maddie got spooked by her feelings for Cale and left immediately after their one night together. However she never got over her time with Cale. Cale was the same way. Then enter Zoey. She is the "dearest" friend to Maddie who wants to be Maddie. Unbeknownst to Maddie her and Zoey make a bet that leads Zoey straight to Cale. This story is about Maddie and Cale's journey home and how some roads don't always lead you straight home but give you detours.
Kelly Never Disappoints Me!!!
Anything by Kelly Elliott is fantastic. her writing just gets you lost in her stories and you never want to stop reading. You get lost in the characters and at times wish it was you in the story. You could only dream. She is an amazing writer. I love her!
