This is a book to return to again and again for deeper realization of its manifold wisdom, and for the sheer delight of a thoroughly engaging and brilliantly crafted story. Can't stop thinking about Mirra's book within the book! An essential read
I have already gifted this book to 50 people who, like me, have not given up on seeking and enjoying works of this caliber. Beautiful descriptions and an abundance of food for the imagination, I know one day classes will study the style and story of this book. I am totally appreciative for this brilliant work and the honest perspective on our society and the dysfunctions of our world today. Sign me up for the next chapter.
A wonderful magical heart opening book!!!
This magical story has enchanted me completely! If I could I would give this book 10 stars!!! It is thrilling, humorous, entertaining, educating and deeply touching at the same time! The author knows how to open the hearts of her readers. It never happened to me that I could identify myself with so many characters in a book. Through The Journeys of John & Julia I can understand now much more of the problems I had growing up and I also gained compassion for everyone involved in that process. Reading this book is healing for my soul. That's why I will start reading it a third - and probably not the last - time. There are so many things I learn from it for my daily life. I'm already curious what I will discover this time! J&J brought magic into my world and helps to remind me that there is so much more in it than my eyes can see or my poor brain can understand. Read this book and tell everyone you know about it because this book is healing for everybody!!!
