Love the series…
I am not much of a reader, but I’ve read 4 books in a week. Awesome series!
The Jury
It took until chapter 13 to get to the person in the description of the book. I thought until then that I was reading the wrong book.
I’m very saddened by the lack of continuity. I’ve been reading this series in order. In the first book, Nikki was not yet actually engaged. By this book, she wears the engagement ring on a necklace and has her wedding dress. She hasn’t had a relationship with Jack since the beginning of book one, yet she now has those items when she’s barely spoken to the guy and they hint about getting back on track with their marriage plans.
This book is 5 years after the first book. Myra was having her 61st birthday in the first book. But now she’s know her best friend for 50 years, x months and x days, and she’s still only 61. As a 61 year old woman, I’d like to still be 61 in 5 years.
When you read the books back to back in sequence, it’s hard to ignore the discrepancies from book to book.
Disappointing
Hard to read, not well written. Don't waste your money!
