The Kilimia Stone

Isabella Jones and her trusted AFP partner, Robbie Wells, arrive in Tanzania to investigate the murder of an Australian in a luxury safari resort. Local police are quick to link the murder to the theft of six blocks of the beautiful blue gemstone, tanzanite. Rumours of a seventh, said to be the most exquisite tanzanite ever found, captivate the Tanzanian people, who believe it to be the mythical Kilimia Stone.

In the face of obstacles thrown up by local police, Isabella uncovers links between Tanzania's political leadership, Big Mining, and organised crime. They all want one thing: the Kilimia Stone. But the only clue to its location is the cryptic final sentence in a letter written by the murdered man weeks before his death.

Isabella was never one for comfort zones, which is just as well. Convinced that finding the Kilimia is the key to solving the murder, she embarks on a perilous mission that blurs the line between courage and recklessness and places her in the gravest of dangers – from the elements, and the murderer!
