The King of Gee-Whiz

Emerson Hough was an American author best known for writing western stories and historical novels. His other notable works included Story of the Cowboy, which received a high recommendation from President Theodore Roosevelt.  His most notable non-fictional works were popular historical celebrations of great mythic figures of the Old West.

«The King of Gee-Whiz» was originally written by best selling children's author L. Frank Baum and best selling historical novelist Emerson Hough as a play. The main heroes are Widow Pickles' twins Lulu (a girl) and Zuzu (a boy) as the "hereditary heirs" of the Island of Gee Whiz due to their green and blue hair.  The Private Secretary magically appears and transports them all by submarine. Get ready for the adventurous trip into the incredible author's fantasy!
