John Ruskin (1819-1900) was the most significant art critic during the Victoria Era. He had quite a wide range of interests wich included art, folklore, mythology, goelogy e.t.c. He managed to acclaim recognition throughout the entire world and his literary legacy counted up to 250 works.


'The King Of The Golden River' is a fairy-tale written by John Ruskin in 1841. It tells us about the Treasure Valley and its owners. The two of them, Hans and Schwartz, happens to mistreat the Southwest Wind and in return it destroys the Valley.
