The Kingdom Beneath

Velmorae: The Kingdom Beneath

Book One of The Ash Covenant

Some kingdoms are built on stone.

Others are built on secrets.

Elara Veyne has spent her life surviving the ruthless politics of the royal court. Lyren Vale is the empire's most feared rebel, determined to destroy everything the crown represents. They were born to be enemies.

Instead, they fall in love.

As an ancient force known as the Sovereign Root awakens beneath the kingdom of Nozareth, cities begin to change, forgotten memories return, and a darkness older than history reaches toward the surface. At the center of it all stands Crown Prince Cael Arden, a man slowly consumed by the cursed throne he is destined to inherit.

Now Elara and Lyren must choose between protecting the kingdom that raised them or destroying it before an ancient power enslaves humanity forever.

Perfect for readers who love dark fantasy romance, sapphic enemies to lovers, slow-burn romance, gothic fantasy, political intrigue, and morally gray characters, Velmorae: The Kingdom Beneath is the gripping first book in The Ash Covenant, an epic fantasy series where love becomes rebellion, memories become weapons, and freedom may demand the ultimate sacrifice.
