An insightful adventure
This book was a good read. The flawed characters, the underlying familiarity with character intricacies, as well as the overall fickleness of people (loyalty, friendship, etc.).
Solid Start to a Fantasy Series
This story involves an interesting cast of characters dealing with epic events that have remained unresolved for centuries. The character, both good and evil, have depth and scope that evolve throughout the story and the action scenes contain details that bring them to life much better than the typical slash, parry, and lunge. I have already purchased the next book in this series.
