Heart In Pieces
I read a Thousand Splendid Suns years ago. It has always remained one of my favorite reads. It sucked me in and I couldn’t stop reading. Years later I wondered why I have never read the Kite Runner. Halfway through Kite Runner I remember why I hadn’t read it. My heart was still recovering from A Thousand Splendid Suns.
His writing is magical. The stories are tragic. A beautifully written story during a horrible time in history.
