The Blueprint

If you are an aspiring artist its mandatory that you read this book. It gives you the tools you need and informs you about the pros and cons of the industry. And pretty much walks you through on how you should start building your foundation/fanbase to your career. She doesn’t come across as her opinion being the right/only way but specificly letting you know its her opinion based off of her experiences. Coming from someone who’s been in the business 20+ years and has negotiated contracts for some of the most renowned artist of the genre.

Better than my law books!

So, Wendy just gave the inside view and breakdown of the structure of the industry and it’s agreements. I started reading this book today during a canceled law school class. By the time I finished it, I had missed my second class and didn’t even realize it! I took more notes reading this book than I did reading Constitutional Law I or II. That says a lot about how her conversational style works in terms of explaining the game and it’s dynamics.
