The Last Call

Malik remembers the last day he spoke to his dad.

In this story, a young man reflects on the lessons his father taught him, and how he can apply those lessons in everyday life. As Malik says, “Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.” Though loss is hard, it’s im- portant to focus on the happy times, and continue to carry on the legacy of loved ones.

“Enjoy the simple things,” Malik advises. And though he is sad, and misses his dad every day, he takes what he’s learned from his father and does just that.
