Legal thriller
I don’t like attorneys but this story made me feel slightly different about them. The protagonist will do everything necessary to protect his clients from the courts determined to break them. I hope it is not really like this but fear it likely is for those not white, male, and monied! If so I want this dude on my side!
The last chance lawyer
Really a bad book- I have given on lawyer trial room books- they are like law and order on tv- so much white guilt- can we please have an original plot
No escape from divisive politics
It’s a shame that the author chooses to inject divisive political tropes into the storyline. No matter, there are plenty of other writers with a more sober grasp on reality available to readers seeking a good story instead of a lecture.
