As cities burn and faith replaces science, she moves through refugee lines, black markets, sealed parliaments, and underground cults built around a single symbol, the spiral. Everywhere she goes, people are choosing transformation over fear, even when the cost is their own flesh.
The deeper Lena digs, the closer the story becomes to her own blood. The system behind the crisis has a name, Erebus, and its architect was not a stranger. What the world calls a plague was never a cure. It was a correction.
As containment fails completely and the sky itself carries the rewrite, Lena is forced into a final choice. Preserve humanity as it is, flawed and dying, or release a design that promises survival without consent.
