The Last Evolution

While H.G. Wells invented science fiction, John Wood Campbell was responsible for shaping the golden age of science fiction for book lovers everywhere. This is a tale of super-science, narrated by a narrator who is the last of his kind in the solar system. This dark tale is told in a conversational style and is therefore easy for anyone to understand, while still maintaining the integrity of the science fiction genre. The narrator knows he will be passing before too long, and as the last of his kind, wants to record his memories so that the memories of his kind do not fade from the universe forever. A short tale, but none the less satisfying.
