Publisher Description
Knowledge of the afterlife can trigger dazzling transformations in body, mind, and spirit. It unleashes our authentic selves, radically resets our values, and deepens our sense of life purpose. From it we discover that the real nature of the universe is the very essence of benevolence. In this comprehensive work, Julia Assante probes what happens when we die, approaching with scholarly precision historical and religious accounts, near-death experiences, and after-death communication. She then presents convincing evidence of discarnate existence and communication with the dead and offers practical ways to make contact with departed loved ones to heal and overcome guilt, fear, and grief.

The Last Frontier
This is by far the best book I have ever read on the afterlife. Using the author's suggested techniques, I have made contact with a loved one who passed in 1996 in the most incredible way! Assante's research, writing clarity and passion will be an inspiration to all who have the privilege of discovering this book.
Just what I needed
After several family members passed in a relatively short period of time, I searched for answers to help me with the energies I was feeling and learned so much about connecting with those that have passed over. The lesson is the veil of death is very thin and connections are very real. Still some unanswered questions but I have had multiple connection experiences and so have others I have recommended this book to. Don’t read front to back if you are searching. Go to the back and be satisfied first with good information , then read as you wish. Highly recommended!!
Extremely disappointed--also NOT an audiobook!!
I first got this because I thought it was an audiobook. It turns out I had to get an iPad to read it. Luckily the iPad was a good buy because this book is a total waste!
The author states in her promotions and implies through chapter titles that it has advice for those with loved ones and family members that have crossed over, but also that military men and women whom have killed would find comfort in this book and avoid a lifetime of PTSD. This author does nothing but compile others' shoddy research (stories, really--just like a Chicken Soup For The Soul book) and provides absolutely nothing extra. Not even a tip on receiving a message from a loved one, like the author flat out says it does! This author is nothing but a fraud that takes advantage of those whom are sad and suffering. Maybe the fact that the digital copy is the same cost for an actual copy, says something about her and publisher's integrity in itself. Had I not thought it was an audiobook, I would not have paid $20 for a DIGITAL copy, and, would have seen the price alone as a red flag in itself.
It's so hard to find a person with actual integrity and dignity. This whole "spirituality" industry is full of opportunist like Julia Assante. I should have known that this all too good to be true.
