I didnt like the ending
I am a fan of horror and thriller novels. This particular tale started off so well but toward the middle I began to lose interest. I’m not one to bail on a book unless I hate it. So, I don’t hate this story but I’m not a fan of the ending. Sloan and Cherry both suffered a trauma. It seems like Sloan was the only one who suffered a mental break. That break caused her to spiral. She became obsessed with the idea of not only Cherry being apart of the massacre but her adoptive parents who abandoned her having a role in it. I thought that she was going to get the closure that she needed or maybe a big stand off. Instead, she spiraled into madness and did the unthinkable. This book is easy to read and worth 3 stars to me.

Just read it. It’s such a wild journey and kept me on the edge of my seat! The mystery is engaging and the climax was more than worth the build up!
