The Last Stroke

A man is killed on morning and everyone is surprised. A detective, policeman, doctor, two lawyers, and three women help solve the mystery surrounding the death of Charles Brierly. The detective is typical of the type of detective depicted during books written in this time period--he knows and sees things others don't. He observes and thinks a lot and puts plans into motion all while drawing a net around the criminals.
