Publisher Description
In The Law, Bastiat recognises the central importance of the law and morality in a free society. He was concerned that government was using the 'law' to become too active a participant in the economy whilst devoting too little attention to protecting life and liberty.

Quick easy read.
Ron Paul recommended this book so I read it. It really explains liberty in its most basic form. It was written around the time of the French revolution. It's still very relevant as we may be nearing our own revolution here in the United States.
