The Lawman

A burning desire to become a lawman is planted in the heart of fourteen-year-old Rand Trinity when his father is murdered by a gang of outlaws during the Civil War. Fanning the flames of that desire is the knowledge that those outlaws would never answer for their crimes. As he grows into adulthood, Rand is determined to bring criminals to accountability and give justice to the victims and their families. The Lawman is a story of a young U.S. Marshal dedicated to his job who is determined to bring outlaws to justice, all while facing untold dangers, not only from the outlaws he is chasing but from a feisty young lady.The Lawman is the adventures of one of the youngest U.S. Marshals in the early history of our country. The tall red-headed marshal finds himself in precarious and dangerous situations that test his mettle. Because of his age he has to continually prove himself capable of doing his job as a U.S. Marshal. Rand, long ago determined to live a solitary life and not get involved with the fairer sex. But when a beautiful, multi-talented female, with an independent spirit crosses his path, Rand’s resolve is shaken right down to the soles of his boots!
