The Letter

This is the portrayal of the exploits of a volunteer to the Northern Army of the United States Civil War, and his love for his young wife, left alone, while he took part in the pivotal war of Sharpsburg, also known as the Battle of Antietam, thus creating a moment in posterity as a soldier.
