Kate attends Pemberly Brown Academy, a prestigious private school steeped in tradition and snobbery, where Kate has few allies beyond her smitten and conspiracy theory obsessed friend Seth, and maybe her recent love interest, bad boy Liam. But as Grace's emails become more intense full of pleas, riddles, directions, and warnings Kate is overwhelmed with guilt for not being with Grace on the night she died, and she obsessively seeks the truth about what happened. The Roecker sisters' narrative switches from the events leading up to Grace's death and the present day, effectively building tension and emphasizing the life-altering significance of the event for Kate ("It was like a giant pair of scissors had come along and neatly snipped my life in two"). No character is above suspicion in this chilling, suspenseful, and smart debut. Ages 12 up.

This book is down right AMAZING! :) There was never a boring moment! I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THE SEQUEL!! Even if it is coming out in a year :( READ THIS BOOK!!!! :D
Liar Society
This is one of the best books I've read. A ghost using email. How compelling? I had to read it. So I did. I never read the back of a book to find out what happens. What I thought would be all about a ghost on the inter webs turns into a very compelling mystery. Every page left me wanting more. I fell in love with practically all of the characters, even those I never met..ie Dr. Prozac. I kept rooting for the ghost to be a coverup story. I don't want to give the story away so I won't. But this book is GREAT! So great in fact, that I'm rereading it and it hasn't been out all that long.
