Publisher Description
The Librarian is the Second Edition of Book One in the Maggie Sloan Thriller Series; it replaces I Always Wanted to Be a Spy, First Edition. The content is the same; the title and the cover have changed.
Vigilante Justice, Librarian Style
Maggie Sloan survives an explosion and begins the slow process of healing with the help of her unusual team. When her world is shattered by a heart-wrenching murder, Maggie's team trains her to fight to win, whatever the cost. Her grief and rage transform her from prey to relentless hunter, and her brilliant observational talents threaten a complex criminal scheme.
As Maggie closes in on the truth, she realizes she's on the trail of a mastermind, a dark puppeteer of serial killers, whose intellect threatens to match her own. In this gripping psychological thriller, it all comes down to kill or be killed.
Customer Reviews
The Librarian
Interesting for sure but a little bit to unrealistic.
The Librarian
When I first started reading this I thought what a strange way to write. Shortly afterwards I was hooked and couldn’t wait to find out more.
Well done!
Interminable
Too long and confusing. Couldn’t really like Maggie.
Hundreds and hundreds of pages. So many venues, characters, plots, themes.
Author obsessed with spy gadgets and martial arts, but also food. Weird.
