A Great Work !!!
I've been a reader of self-help books for over 30 years and Its been a long time ( since "As A Man Thinketh") that I've read a book of this kind that has held my attention where I would rather read than sleep ! This is such a book !
Authors during this period were known as New Age authors. I think this title may sometimes lead people to believe that "these" type authors writings described some Hocus Pocus (for lack of a better term) type of material. This is Not the case with this book , nor the case in most instances with most other authors of that era.
This is one of the most complete self-help books I've read because its backed with the word of God...literally. The author was a minister prior to going into business, which explains his many references to the word of God. He uses both common sense and the word of God to show how powerful we are in our thoughts and in the word. If you're not a Christian, don't allow that fact stop you from reading such a great work. As with As A Man Thinketh, this book is timeless in the wisdom that is given throughout the entire book. I look forward to reading others works done by the author as well as other authors of this era. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in feeding and furthering their mind to the greatness and power that we All possess to have a greater and more fulfilling life !
Quite spiritual
This book is like reading passages from the bible as they apply today. Interesting and applicable enough but reads like a condensed version of the bible. Very inspiring all the same. A beneficial read indeed.
