The Light at the End of the Road
All Samantha Williams wants is to find her way home. Her father's critically ill and the family doesn't believe he'll make it through the weekend. But the fates and Mother Nature aren't cooperating. Icy rain has caused highway closings along Sam's precipitous mountain route, and she's forced to take treacherous back roads. When her car hits black ice and skids into a ditch, Sam fears for her survival. Then a stranger appears on the scene to offer her a hand. Only, after a while, Sam starts to fear this handsome mystery man is leading her in the wrong direction...
Jake Marlow normally doesn't travel this road at night. In fact, he barely gets back to the country. But a business emergency has him taking chances with the weather in his trustworthy SUV. At least, he believed it trustworthy until it blew two tires this evening. Seeking shelter in the storm, he comes across a beautiful woman in even more dire circumstances than his own. While he's sure he's never met her, there's something about Samantha Williams he feels he knows. Driven to protect her and get her to safety, Jake's prepared to make any sacrifice. Yet the mysterious light they're chasing eludes them time and again.

A Rocky Road
This romantic ghost story is Samantha and Jake's story, who start out as strangers but due to circumstances beyond their control, find that they need to help each other get to where they need to be, and it is imperative that they both get there. You never know when or who will turn up as a ghost or a spirit. I really enjoyed this light, charming story. It is a stand alone book with the common elements being that they all take place in Virginia, and there is at least one ghost in each story. [I purchased this story with a gift card received from the author and because I loved The House at Homecoming Cove.]
Follow The Light
Samantha Williams is in a panic. Her father is critically ill so she needs to get home immediately. Unfortunately she's caught in a ice storm. When her car crashes, she is rescued by a stranger who risks his life to save her. They are alone and stranded. What happens next took my breath away. The Light at the End of the Road is a riveting paranormal love story. Sam and Jake are amazing characters. They are fated to be together. The dark, isolated mountains provide the perfect background. When they unexpectedly discovered Becky's diner, I shivered with anticipation. Ginny Baird has outdone herself. The way the pieces of this story fit together was amazing. I couldn't put this book down. I read it in one sitting. I had to know what would happen next. This carefully plotted story was filled with suspenseful tension and unexpected twists. This book is a keeper.
A Must Read
A sweet romance with mystery and a hint of paranormal element. The story of Samantha and Jake, both very caring, strong willed characters. They both will do anything to help another person. They are both trying to get to the hospital for Sam's critically ill father. Many twists and turns in the story as they are following the light and the fog.
This book will hook you in immediately and not let go until you finish. This will be on my reread list. I am not a big fan of paranormal but this is very mild and not defer from the story, a great addition. I highly recommend this story.
