Upon returning to the city, Thomas meets a mysterious young woman who introduces him to the leader of a secret society, the Mengodda. After spending so many years alone, Thomas is pleased to acquaint with others like himself, but not for long. When faced with an ultimatum that he won't commit to, Thomas is plunged into a world of deceit and madness.
