Publisher Description

'The Little Book of Sham' is the result of hours spent staring into space, wondering - not just, 'Why are we here?' - but also - "How?" and 'Have I left the oven on?'

The book is a guide to modern life, unlike any other, and is packed full of witty observations, insights and wisdom gleamed by the author through a life time of study, mediation, reflection and sleeping late.

Donald Trump, The Kardashians, Scientology, and North Korea are just some of the targets in this humorous collection of aphorisms. If you read just one book this year it should be The Little Book of Sham - the self help book to end all self help.

The Little Book of Sham is packed full of wit and wisdom for the world of today with..........
More secrets than "The Secret"
Funnier than "The Tibetan Book of the dead"
More urgent than the "Power of Now"

About the Author:
Keith Martin was a Councillor on Westport Town Council from 2004 until its abolition in 2014. He accepts no responsibility whatsoever for its abolition.

He has worked as a fast food cook, a barman, a shop assistant, a labourer, a doorman and managed a distribution centre for women's underwear. He holds a BA (Hons) in Media Management and Production and a Higher Diploma in Print Journalism. He works as a Librarian. He has enjoyed writing residencies at both the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll Cottage

He lives alone, by choice, but would like to point out that it was someone else's choice, not his. This is his first book. It is probably his last.
