The Little Oak

This colorfully illustrated story-poem conveys the message that being different isn’t wrong, because that’s what makes one strong. Little Oak grew up amidst a forest of prickly pines that disliked the little tree for its “fat round limbs with small flat leaves.” Yet, that diversity saved the day when catastrophe struck one dark stormy night.
