Publisher Description
In The Living Oracles, Alexander Campbell presents his translation of the New Testament, aiming to provide a clear and accurate rendering of the original Greek text. Campbell, a prominent figure in the Restoration Movement of the early 19th century, sought to strip away centuries of traditional interpretations and return to a pure, unbiased understanding of the scriptures. This work reflects his commitment to the principle of "speaking where the Bible speaks and being silent where the Bible is silent," offering readers a fresh perspective on the New Testament that continues to influence biblical scholarship and Christian thought today.
