The remote north woods of Maine are peaceful and serene. That all changed the year the poachers, game wardens, and strangers were mixed up in a mystery at the lake.
Three generations of the Parker family had vacationed in the woods near Lobster Lake for nearly a hundred years. The Parkers knew the roads, trails, and lakes around their cabin better than anyone, except maybe the local game warden. It was always a quiet and safe place, until the year Joe Parker rescued a girl, the oddly dressed stranger stalked their woods, and the bandits caused some serious trouble.
The connection between what happened in the woods, and the young girl, only becomes apparent to Joe Parker after he falls for the pretty New York reporter. Together, will they be able to find out what happened that strange year at camp?
The Lobster Lake Bandits is the first book in the Moosehead Mystery series.

A trip to Maine
The Lobster Lake Bandits transported me to the woods of Maine. What a well written mystery. There was suspense all throughout that made me not want to put this book down. There’s a little romance between the Mainer and the woman from New York City, but not too much. I liked that the main character was a Red Sox fan. I learned about wildlife and a little Boston history as well. And of course, about the Moosehead Lake area, the seaplane flyin, and Greenville. It all tied together so nicely. Read the sample - you’ll want to read the rest of it.
