Ok read
First time reading this type of this authors writing. I was a little disappointed and prefer her Western style of writing better.
Of course this book was set during a different time in our history when women were treated with little to no respect. Though the heroine in this book tried
to be strong and independent life just gave her a different path to follow.
Intriguing but slow
I started the book- - it was mildly intriguing but I couldn’t finish it. It didn’t capture my attention enough. I ended up getting to chapter 7 and then skipped to the end. Read the last chapter and was satisfied that there was an HEA. How it got there and me not knowing didn’t bother me which says something about the book.
The Lord of Lost Causes
Could have been a good story without so much explicit sex and language.
