Engrossing
I hated when I had to put this book down! I never could keep British royalty straight, but this book went a long way to solving that dilemma. It is a tour de force of historical research! This is not only the story of the birthrights and personalities of these potential kings, but a fascinating in-depth picture of the way they and their families lived — from religion to sports to studies to clothing, to politics, to their wealth and beyond. This book deserves a Grand Prize!
