The Lost Letter

Sometimes, words are better left to silence. Other times, those unspoken sentiments could have made all the difference.

Written with love and sealed with a promise, Dwayne proclaimed his undying devotion onto a measly sheet of paper. He sent the letter, hoping his humble message would be enough to win Lucinda's hand in marriage. He wished he could have given her a better proposal.
