Timing is a major issue for the heroine of this supernatural romance. Deeply unconfident Delphie Bookham is a lonely 27-year-old virgin who, after choking on a bite of cheeseburger, finds herself in a sort of purgatory. That’s where she experiences love at first sight with Jonah, another recent arrival. But the joke’s on her—he’s there due to an admin glitch and gets sent back to Earth. So a kind overseer decides to give Delphie 10 days back in the land of the living to find Jonah and earn his love. Kirsty Greenwood makes us feel what it’s like to be Delphie—with all her anxiety—while letting us laugh at every outrageous turn of fate she encounters. Greenwood’s prose makes you feel like you’re right there, sharing Delphie’s literally death-defying search for Mr. Right.

Slow start but great finish
This book started so slowly that I wasn’t sure I would finish. It finally picked up the pace and ended with a bang.

Loved it, get past the first 3 chapters and the fun begins.

Super cute and easy to read. A great way to get away in a book. There were some things that were cute and predictable but I liked the ending a lot and I didn’t expect it.
