There is a slowish murder mystery as well as a rekindled romance. I got the gist of Whodunit eventually, but there were enough red herrings around that it was plausible the characters didn't get the right conclusion quickly.
Fair number of bedroom scenes, not all in bedrooms.
Interesting heroine, with an extremely fallible memory for many things. (But a very good one for others.)
