Volume One of The Mad King's Bride series. Aurora Cruise, AKA Johnny Rodent, asocial frontman for the indy band Johnny Rodent & The 20lb Rats, is really a poor little lost rich boy, illegitimate son of a very wealthy and eccentric old European family. Martin Finch is a freelance paranormal investigative journalist obsessed with an antique photograph of an apparently alien woman, and he hopes Aurora can help him find out who she was or where she came from. But when Martin reunites Aurora with his dead father's family, all hell breaks loose. Literally.
