PRAISE FOR C.J. ARCHER'S GLASS AND STEELE SERIES:
"Part romance, part mystery, part magic; all of which a joy to read." - Dreamer J's Book Reviews
"This story has everything I look for in a quality, entertaining piece of fiction. 1) A strong female lead, 2) a dark and mysterious male character (I admit, they are my weakness), 3) eloquent writing, and 4) lots of quirky humor and banter." - Danaye from Young @ Art book reviews
DESCRIPTION: THE MAGICIAN’S DIARY
India and Matt thought all their problems would come to an end once they found Chronos. But the watch magician brings with him as many questions as answers, and a load of trouble. To fix Matt's magic watch, they must find an old diary that once belonged to a doctor magician murdered decades ago. The hunt drags them into a sordid mystery involving two of London's craft guilds. With old and new enemies determined to stop them, and long-held secrets unearthed, Matt and India must work together better than ever.
But as the reason for India's strangely strong magic is revealed, she wants to draw other magicians into the open, while Matt wants to hide magic to keep her safe.
Her plan backfires. His plan shatters. And danger comes to their door.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The foggy, lamplit streets of Victorian England are a perfect locale for mystery, fantasy and suspense. The fourth book in C.J. Archer’s Glass and Steele series makes the most of the author’s eye for detail and historical facts. This time, protagonists India and Matt delve into secret societies and unlock mysteries that have remained unsolved for centuries—and there’s peril around every cobblestoned corner. It’s the vividness of Archer’s storytelling that brings readers of all ages back time and again to these tales of the unexpected.

Must read!!
Love the series and a must read for anyone who loves magic, a bit of mystery and romance.
The Magician’s Diary-Good
Excellent writing and unique story lines are key to keeping the reader interested and purchasing the next book in the series.
My 4 star rating is not based on content, which is excellent, but rather the length of the series. I think some of the content could be scrubbed and condensed to move the story along more quickly and would have no effect on the quality of the books or the series.
The reveals!!
I just fall deeper and deeper into this series! I have a timer to remind myself to get some sleep. Lol
