Hmm, kind of…
Sree, the protagonist, is obsessively portrayed in a sickening light. The first half of the book is overly repetitive self-absorbed, self-loathing, self-disgust - a terrible framework for establishing any type of world building or interest driving narrative - nothing short of a real slog. At Ch. 48 (of 62) the storyline binds together and then ramps up to a reasonable ending, however, in an unexpected direction and strayed from a world introduced as populated with camouflage-shifting assassins. Enough interest to read the next, but only as a filler between other titles.
