A great first entry for the series!
This was a fun, thrilling read! it's a product of its time, but there's so much to enjoy that the occasional less-than-PC passages were easy for me to overlook. I'm a long-time Doc Savage fan. It's amazing how much of what's great about the series and characters was there from the start. If you're new to Doc's adventures you are in for a tret!
