The Man Timothy

This is not a commentary on Paul's letters to Timothy. Rather it is a commentary on Timothy, the man. The Scriptures mention him on many occasions and tell us much about him and what he did. Here we follow his life through chronologically, starting even before the first time we hear of him at Lystra (Acts 16), on Paul's second missionary journey.

 

What was Timothy like as a man? As a Christian? How did he mature? Did he have any problems? How did they affect him? These are some of the questions which are considered.

 

At the end of these writings, lessons are drawn from the life of Timothy, and from the way in which the Apostle Paul dealt with him, which may be beneficial and edifying for all Christians today.
