A Jar of Love…
I thought the title of the book was clever, and I soon learned it was a special story of how to preserve love. Rian is a rascal, obviously playing with life and risking a lot, before his brazen behavior is exposed and he’s sent away to recover. Interesting, Mason appears to be recovering, too, but from a misguided sense of guilt. The characters in this book seem really to live in this small town, and the way these men come together is fun to see… and hear their endearing banter and flirting. When Rian returns to Hollywood, you see two men each doubting the love in their relationship. Rian’s resolution of the problem is very satisfying… an appropriate. When Rian demands Mason give him a reason to stay, the answer is perfect.
