One of my favorite Heyer novels
I do so want to smack the arrogant and conceited ‘old gentleman’ upside the head!
I am so taken with Robin and Prudence/Kate and Peter, the wonderful convoluted stories they have to tell, and I could easily fall for Sir Anthony, were he in my circle and time, or me in his.
This is a story of romance and enjoyment. I’m not sure how many times I’ve read this, but if you have not, you are in for a treat.
A Favorite of Ms. Heyer
One of Georgette Heyer's most delightful novels. Danger, intrigue, daring do, true love, spiced with a great deal of comedy. A must-read.
